    Interior lights...

Just fitted a led bulb in my interior light and it stays on a little even when its off?

Also do the ones above the rear doors come on when you turn interior light on?

Or when do they actually work?

I've had mine fitted for the last year too and it stays on ever so slightly. Apparently even when everything this if off a small amout of current is still passing through the wires. Enough for it to light the LED a small amout, however with the resistance of a filament bulb it wouldnt light that up.

Dont know about rear doors as mines a 3 door

Nah you can get the little light to turn off totally.
To do this you have to move the switches on the back passenger lights, i cant remember what position, but a certain position turns the front light off completely.

But doing that you have to keep switching them back :P!

Ive had LED festoons in mine for a good 6 months or so now, and they've always had a little bit of light showing, only since i changed the rear ones though.

But ive never had any issues because of this, i even left them all switched on fully for about a day when i didnt use the car! Still no problems.

Like paul said, they use so little power. Unlike the 10w power of the filament ones ;o!

Mine are fine, LED bulbs all in front, and rears.
They are not dimly lit, or slightly showing, but completely off.
Could be where you got bulbs from that causing issue?
Disclaimer - some of the above text may actually be sarcasm (believe it or not!)

Yea that will be due to the rear switches

I have this also. All my bulbs are LEDs.

Map light or whatever it's called. Rear doors, boot & glovebox.

I CBA going out to check, but IIRC, only the map light still shows when the engine is off, albeit very very dimly.

Yes it's this one on mine that stays very very dim.

I would prefer it to go out completely, but I've not looked into it. Maybe a little resistor before the light?
