what to set z18xe fuel pressure at

Hi fella's I have just done a z18xe conversion for which I have used an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. Can anyone tell me what the fuel pressure should be set at, it is an otherwise standard engine.

Also is the solenoid and diaphragm an egr valve if so how is best to make it in operative.

    cheers, Ryan

you can't just set the pressure without rolling road set up or it will either be dumping too much or too little fuel in and not getting the best from the engine.
i used a fuel regulator on an astra sri and once it was rolling road set up, it flew and had wicked throttle response
solenoid/diaphram??????, not sure what you mean by this

Yea I know mate. However I have to get the car running and make sure everything is ok before it goes near a rolling road pal.
So I need to know what the standard fuel pressure is.

Solenoid/diaphram- back right hand side of the inlet manifold. looks like a z20let boost solenoid.

    Cheers

    ok mate,
the solenoid is for the variable inlet manifold tract. leav this as it is or you will cause the ECU to go in limp mode

as for the fse regulator, it will be more or less pre set for you to get the car running
