    Steering lock immobiliser

Hi, I have just removed the steering column shrouds to fix a problem with my windows not working (when I had the key in the ignition the windows would not work unless I pushed the key backwards, now solved with a plastic tie to hold the switch connections firmly).

Now no red lights on the dash and the car won't start. I did remove the switch connector but replaced it without moving anything.

Have I upset some immobiliser? Any suggestions on a solution would be most welcome. Regards John

If you'd messed the immobiliser up you'd have a flashing dash light

Maybe you just have a flat battery or your ignition switch is more faulty that you first thought
