    MK5 Astra Aux Input?

Hi there i'm new here and really have searched and tried most things that other websites have suggested..

    Heres the issue..

I have read somewhere that its possible to connect me iPhone/iPod to my car radio via aux..(i dont have the aux input near the gearstick) anyhow i was wondering weather this is possible or do i have to buy one of the rubbish iPhone FM transmitters that plugs into my cigarette lighter?

    I have 54reg Astra 1.7cdti.

Hope someone can help, dont thing i can handle it anymore.

    Thanks

    Phill

    Hi

Right, I'm in my car trying to see I my CD30MP3 radio will accept AUX input but I'm struggling to release my radio, do I need a special tool or is there a way to release using something that will fit in the holes?

    Cheers

If the stereo will take aux it it will be labled on the top of the stereo. It will need programming by vauxhall once done too
