    maf sensor

    people been saying maf sensor could be causing hesitation and jerking anybody no how to replace this?

    It's two screws and a clip mate , its on the pipe leading from air box to tb , there's a easy way to test if it's the maf , unplug it take it for a short drive n see if the problems go away
    Astra Gsi full miltek catback , tx enlarged top hat and boost pipe with Baileys dump valve , cdti air box

    had this problem last week, had to change the egr in the end, i got a x16xel egr brand new sittin in the back of my car, a gm one, will sell for 40 quid, i ordered it frm autovaux but took to long to cme and the car kept cutting out so garage replaced it for me, also had to chage the maf sensor, camshaft sensor, throttle gasget.

    iv recently change my egr so it wont be that, was you getting the jerking and hesitation until you replaces those sensors?

    yh, like my car would kangaroo, if i accelerated it would rev jerk a bit then kick in, i mean i had the faults come up on the ecu which helped but i also had the throttle stripped which is pretty easy to do, but one of the pipes connected to it is your coolant so if you do take it apart be carefull, i found out the hard way lol

    What engine? They don't all have a MAF.
