    Fault Code 0400

    Hi Guys

Just a quick question if anyone can help. Had emission warning light on (gone out again now) pedal test revealed 0400 'exhaust gas recuculation'

Now i'm assuming EGR but is there a chance it can be anythin else? Car runs fine other than engine running cool until I get thermostat done later in week.

    Thanks.

Is the car running jerky, cutting out at junctions etc? I have just had to replace an EGR

Make a blanking plate out of a coke can. That sorts it

P0400 is most certainly an EGR fault. Blank it via eBay for £3, or replace it with a Vauxhall supplied or an eBay Delphi version.
