    Mapping...?

Ive used red dot racing the passed 2 years with my Gsi and planning to with the garrett build but had an interesting convo last night with a member and it has me thinking. Who would you recommend? Not wanting crazy power around 400bhp but at same time dont want 30psi. Ive used red dot as great power at good boost but the fuelling worrys me some times! Ive a few mates with regal maps but again seem to be big psi?

Darren i will be using reddot when i get my new turbo and i'll be going for 330 max. How would you rate their service and quality of maps at that power range?

It wont be done with vxr turbo either btw it'll be equal to garret gt28 size.

Also i would stick with what you know mate, people have had problems with fueling at regal and also courts, although out of the two i would go to courts for their services. Just they charge ALOT for things as soon as garrett is mentioned lol.

If you've had good service from Red Dot I would stick with them at least you know what you are getting. I will be using them when i'm ready even though Regal is 20 mins drive away from me.
Purely because i want a custom map rather than a generic map nothing to do with service standards.

what turbo are you looking at darren? if your not keen on any of the tuners out there and money isnt tight then go standalone management, that opens up a whole new bunch of options to you

Mapping wise I would say stick with regal as they use EDS it's a good map I don't know how or why people get into this custom map stuff
Or you could look at the CS maps if wanted

All you do is flash a map onto the car then try a few other maps and find one that works best you can't live the ecu in the car unless you have a stand alone setup

at last someone who speaks out! they wont take any notice!
iv used eds maps ph1, ph2, ph3, ph3.5 and all the above ones after them. im now running a eds map on my garret set up, through regal with spot on fueling 483bhp 441lbs.
