Angry Dont bother with these bulbs!

So i bought some Philips blue vision "ultras" to go with my led sidelights as the dipped beams look yellow in comparison. Came to £19.09 on amazon and now im seeing if i can return them. The ultras are the new ones and meant to be alot better than the standard blue visions. But there not. at all. So if your considering it, just dont cus there the same as the standard bulbs. Heres some pics (both have led sidelights in aswell)

    Standard stock bulb:

    Blue vision ultra bulb:

I'm gonna look into some others such as mtec cosmos or diamond vision. cba with hids.

Ahh, you must've missed/ignored my thread regarding "quality" headlight bulbs then & wasted money

I basically said that Osram Nightbreakers at £15ish are about the only thing i'll splasho ut on after trying many bulbs. The "premium" bulbs beyond this price really aren't worth the extra cash.

I did see that, and i thought these came out after your thread cus there the ultra ones not the standard bluevisions. But theres nothing blue or ultra about them lol. So you think the osrams are worth it? Reckon they look alrite with the led's?

Get a HID kit, failing that, get some Nightbreakers. Thats about the best you will get sticking with halogen...

I don't understand why you people want blue lights

Aren't bright white (i.e Philips Xtreme Power) better?

Youve completely missed the point of these bulbs. You can clearly see by the pic that the light output on the phillips is far greater than the standard. Thats what these type of bulbs are for, greater light output, not for lor looking like xenons. If you want xenons get a hid kit.
