    Galletto remap?

    Ive had a galletto remap and the car is boosting different never read up about these before i had it done and just wanted peoples views on it, can anyone shed some light...

    What do you mean it boosts different? If it's not the standard map it will boost different. What boost levels are you getting?

    as in it surges abit and iam fitting a boost gauge tomorow to see what iam getting,was just abit worried as i dont want it to cause any damage to the car if the map is not right etc

    Depends where you got your map from mate. i have a stage 1 map done by galletto and when my turbo is working properly (lol) it boosted fine, took off at 3k revs!

    i got it done from a lad on here, :-) iam sure everything is fine i think i just really need new plugs as there the standard vauxhall ones and i cant se any history of them being changed so have bought some denso iridium ones, boost is saying 14-16psi in 5th foot flat, is that about right?

    Some of these stage 1 maps are a bit wild for the standard car. My stage 1 was more like a stage 2 it was bonkers! I've taken it off again.

    My phase 1 overboosts to 16psi then holds 12 to the red line. Overboost is only for a couple seconds mind. Phase 2 I have a problem with but it's still on the standard turbo and almost done 70k so may be tired now

    I don't think it's a surge as such but more that the map is quite aggressive. I like it as it really does kick you back in the seat. There is a lower boost stage 1 map which eliminates the 'problem'.
