is race/competition oil necessary for an everyday car? Also, in my 2ltr turbo, should I be running semi or fully synthetic?

    Cheers

    Crackingly informative read:

    Essential? No.

Semi or full? Up to you providing either is a decent quality, a decent fully synth should reduce engine wear, marginally improve fuel consumption and performance, and may quieten the engine down a little too.

That's pretty much summed it up. It will give better protection than a semi and last longer, but it does cost more for the oil.

nry, you didn't miss out, this offer wasn't on last week, it was reduced prices last week. All the offers generally tend to work out similar overall as we only have a fixed amount to play with, if we give extra discount, we can't give the free shipping, free litres etc.

    Cheers

I know, I'd have spent another £10 on the Fuchs Titan if I noticed it

A member on here PM'd me and recommended it over the Supersyn by which point was already on the way, next time

Being honest, it is better than the Supersyn, but there's nothing at all the matter with the Supersyn in a road car.

    Cheers

I know, otherwise the Supersyn would go in my wife's Zafira and I'd buy some Titan
