    Painting Centre Console

Hey guys, I want to get my centre console painted red but im not sure how to go about doing it, shall I get it professionally done or is it cheaper to do it myself,
Im looking on Halfords for the paint, and found this: Hammerite Smooth Finish

will that be ok to use, or do i need to buy Red Primer(click) and Red Paint(click)

are these types of spray paints ok to use, or is it worth buying the tinned paint and using a proper paint gun?

    Thanks for any responses

you need a plastic primer and a red paint

if you don't have a clue though it might be easier just to get someone to do it for you

ahh so that smooth finish stuff is no good then lol,
yeah I dont really have a clue

edit: found Red Plastic Primer(click) on halfords

and just found a howto on here
guess i'll just buy the primer and paint and try it myself, gotta learn someway
just thought the smooth finish stuff on halfords would make it easier and cheaper than having to use the primer and then paint

    thanks for your reply

    Features and Benefits:
    Colour - Red
Can be applied directly onto rust metal
No need for primer or undercoat
    Corrosion resistant
Hammerite forms a superior barrier that not only seals out moisture but gives long lasting protection both inside and outside

^ says its not needed in the description lol, thats why I thought of using this instead
