    bucket seats subframes

i bought some bucket seats off here but they dont fit straight into my astra. i have some old sxi seats in the shed that i dont need so is there any way i can take the frame off them and put them on the bucket seats so they fit straight in?
any other way without having to spend stupid money on subframes?

    thanks in advance

I had a simular problem, i used my old sub frames but i found they made the driving position slightly to high for my liking. I ended up using original astra subframes and cut them down with a angle grinder, bolted to seat and job done. Seat sits at a perfect hight, plus using original sub-frames u still have a mount for the seat belt.

can you not just weld a peice of steel plate on top of the whole thing ? and then bolt the seat 2 that ?
