    Speedo cutting out....

Hi all, i fitted my parrot ck3100 into my 98 astra van, install went fine and everything works as it should, but......... As soon as i dial out or recieve a call on the parrot my speedo dies and goes straight to 0mph the other rpm, temp and fuel all remain working, as soon as i hang up the speedo works again, any ideas as to what it could be? Possible bad earth or something? And thoughts and solutions would be great.

The parrots mute wire is wired up to the speed pulse. Unplug the yellow mute wire and find the correct mute which should be the spare blue connector out of the three mute options

Does the stereo actually say mute or phone though? Or do you just think it's working because the sounds cut out and the phones working through the car speakers?

Then the mute not wired properally, just simply unplug the yellow wire to keep it as it is but without the speedo cutting out
