I'm not sure but, in the standard coupe set up, one has 280 mm discs, pads to suit, rears i think 254mm again pads to suit,
on the vxr, one has 321mm discs pads to suit, rears are i think 260mm pads to suit,
What i have noticed when fitting, the pads for both set ups are the same size,
So in theory the surface area on pad to disc braking is identical,
although, the bigger discs, a bigger circumference is being used,
Does it realy make that much difference?
I have exchanged to bigger vxr set ups and TBH my original standard set up was as good.
Although i must admit the vxr system looks SUPERB
