    z20let afm plug

    one of my wires has become loose, can i open the plug to put the wire back in or do i need to find another?

    they can be repaired m8

    mine had a faulty conection, i just pulled the rubber back, repaired it, tapped it up and put the rubber back

    worked a charm

    it started when i was looking in the engine bay 1 day with the car running, touched the afm and the car cut out

    so i diconected the plug from the afm and pealed the plastic sheath back from the plug end -it sits in to a little groove, dig it out and peal it back on itself

    to find the cable on mine had been cut and joined by the previous owner (probably to extend it)

    so i fixed the cables together correctly rapped them in electrical tap and replaced the rubber sheath, which was then a tight fit caus of the tap

    and it cured the problem
