PVS and Question for a mate

With not attending PVS last year i am a bit out of touch.

Am interested in going this year and wouldnt mind putting my car on a stand but dont know the criteria?

Also me best mate has got a Cavalier thats been heavily modified and had an engine change etc, hes with "club vaux" and last year camped and put his car on a stand.

ive mention to him that i am going to go this year and he has said go with his club, but i am on here and its good.

Can he join and possibly have his car on the stand or is it a no go not being an astra

It is a possibility. Since it is a Vauxhall I cant see there being an issue. Usually the non Vauxhalls get tucked away in a corner but if he is happy to join up and pay for a ticket and pass then all should be well.

i didnt think it was generally permitted if it wasnt an astra/zafira

only what i have been told in the past and it will then open it up for everyone to put a second vauxhall on the stand

If he signs up with his own membership then it won't be a second car as it will belong to a member.

It is only generally non Vauxhalls that are banished into a corner, otherwise all are welcome. We had a Monaro last year at Trax, we've had a Signum join us in the past as well so I don't see a Cav being an issue.

I didn't realise Vauxhall made a Golf. Please see the above posts. I doubt anyone forced you to give your pass up but we don't get a great deal of space at PVS so it would have made sense for any spare passes to go to a Vauxhall owner.

I'm sure whoever you gave your pass up for appreciated it.

Non vauxhall banished into a corner, more like the main public car park, Lol. Understandable about space and that though. Was more than happy to give my pass up to a fellow member. Just gutted at the time as i had accident week before PV
