    removing front bumper?

Hi there, i have some new headlights to fit and can't wait to show them off to you lot. The only trouble is i have to take the bumper off. Having never done this before i went looking for garages to fit them for me and it is looking to cost about £50.
How easy is it to remove the bumper? I assume i have to jack it up?

I know the how to guide is for a MK4, but pretty much the same for the MK5.

When changing headlights, its not necessary IMO to remove the whole front bumper. When we changed Glacious headlights on his coupe, we un did the top screens in the arch, then remove the pins under the bonnet part, as show in step 4 on how to. Unclip the bumper from either side, and drop it far enough to get your hand under with a spanner to undo the bottom bolt.

Obviously with the MK5, the grill will have to come out to reveal the clips in step 4.
