I just sold my 2001 White MK4 1.7 DTI for £800, Paid £2000 3yrs ago & all I done it that time was service it & fit a new alternator + cambelt. I used to do 500 miles a week & it was brilliant. Very cheap to run, reliable & pretty nippy, i would defiantly recommend it.

I used to get approximately 45-50mpg, & that was driving it hard. Put it this way, a journey that would cost £10 usually in a average car, would cost about £6 in the van. Amazingly cheap to run.
