    Unhappy Stuttering in wet conditions!!

Starting to peeve me off now, it seems that whenever it rains and I have no choice but go through a puddle the car will start kangarooing at half throttle and pretty much loose power until my foots to the floor (in every gear) and will slowly disappear until I go through another puddle in which it comes back!!

My only feeling is that the flexi on my downpipe has a big hole in and waters getting sucked in soaking the cat in the process which slowly evaporates with the heat, but I also have a worry that there's a loose pipe somewhere or an exposed wire or something. Do any of these sound plausible to the symptoms I'm getting or could it possibly be something else?

If it is the flexi is there any way I can protect it from the elements until I find a replacement? Was thinking if the heat wrap stuff the put on manifolds etc as a temporary measure?

    Any helps greatly appreciated

I've read but have no idea to be honest - the CAT is right next to the block so I doubt there'se chance of water damage unless it is the CAT with a hole in.

You thinking of the z18xe fella? On mine the cat is under the car next to the centre section join (should have said it's an x series engine)

It's bloody irritating as I've hunted high and low for loose pipes and holes etc but nothing

Still no closer to finding the problem for this, whether I go over the puddle drivers side or passenger side the car jolts quite badly to the point I feel somethings going to go bang

I have looked high and low but can't find anything wrong, help!!!
