What Power Will I get From A Remap with my Spec?

    Engine: Z20LET
Turbo: LET (although apparently a hybrid)
    Front Mounted Intercooler
    Solid Boost Hoses
    Enlarged TopHat
    VXR AFM
    VXR Injectors
    Pre-Cat Decat
    Decat
    2.5" Exhaust System
    Cross Over Removed
    Cone Filter

It currently boosts to around 22psi overboost and holds c. 20psi but I have no idea of the current map. I'm getting it remapped in the next couple of weeks and am curious to know what sort of power it will make. From what I've read on other posts should I be expecting 290bhp/340lb torque, ish?

Dave you still never brought it to show me ! I dont think you will be too far off with that guestimate lol maybe a touch less with that turbo though ?

Where are you getting it mapped at?

LOL I know mate, haven't forgot, I'll definitely pop up!

It spent 5 weeks off the road trying to fit those damned seats! haha.

I'm going to take it to RS Tuning in Leeds. Paul really knows his stuff, and having spoke to afew VXR owners that have had maps from their there's nothing but good feedback! I know what you mean about the turbo; it doesn't use any oil though and all the boost hoses are dry so whether it is hybrid or not... no way I'm replacing it for the sake of it though.

@bedford - Unsure of how much it'll cost, I believe it's an hourly charge as he does each car individually as opposed to using a basemap and then tweaking.

@zaf - Paul may check before-hand and tell it's running aswell as it can. However, running that sort of boost if it's not been mapped well there is a good chance things can go wrong very quickly, and with a new car I don't want to take that risk.

I've also been told by a friend of the chap that built it that the map currently on the car is a Courts Stage 4, copied off a different car and then put onto this astra - therefore I'm pretty sure there are improvements that can be made.
