    Big Brake Kits

Im looking at buying a big brake kit. My question is will a brake kit for a VXR fit my Mk4 GSi?

Looking at the k-sport 8 pot kit, will these fit under td pro race 1.2's (18's)?

answer to the question is yes, the vxr 231mm brakes fit under the gsi alloys and also the 17inch sri/coupe turbo alloys

hes not on about the standard 321mm vxr brakes fitting under 18"s.

he wants to know if the k sport 8 pot kit fits under, but like said if it fits under 18" snowflakes think your td pro 1.2's will be fine.

think the k sport kit is a good buy for £850 compared to the tx kit which is over a £1000

not sure how much replacement rotors are and pads though for each kit, may be worth checking before buying

Thanks B12, i wanted to know if the kits made or the VXR would fit my car. Yer the Ksport kit is a very good purchase at £850. I dont track my car yet but might look into it if i had the right setup.

Are 8 pots an overkill for an everyday car? Does anyone have this kit?

well i would e-mail k sport and see if it would fit the mk4 set up.

the standard vxr brakes fit the mk4 as long as you use the vxr brake lines, and the k sport kit supplys new lines, the only concern would be if the caliper hits anything and am sure when there was a group buy for the willwood 4pots going on that they had some issue with a kit for the vxr, that it hit something.

so there might be a difference between mk4 and mk5 for clearence
