    clutch replacement price

    hi just want to no if any of you have had a recent clutch change as i need to get it done on my mk4 coupe 2.2. i need to get an idea of how much there gona sting me for

    Well My Mrs has a P reg 1.2 LX Fiesta and she recently had hers done and they charged her £125 for the clutch and £80 for a new slave cylinder as that was shagged..

    I knows its a f**k up ford and its only a 1.2 but sort of gives u the mimium u could expect to pay

    i think you will be looking about £500 all in
    clutch will be around £250 on its own

    they aint the quickest of clutchs to do so expect the labour charge to be cheap.

    it is around £240 for a decent 3 piece clutch kit and as lee gsi say's you do indeed have to drop the subframe. a garage will charge around 4 to 5 hours labour

    Shame your so far away from me ive done a couple of these and there not to bad bit heavy especially doing it on axel stands. but yeah about 4-5 hours work on a ramp. So all in all about £500
