    headlights colour

    hi all when i was browsing through pvs pics there is a gold coupe where he has colour coded inside headlights anyone else done this an best methods have stripped lights down with heatgun but would rather have some advice please

    meant to say have stripped some previous lights before not astra though

    ive heard easiest way is to put them in the oven for a while, not sure how long tho, id like to know too as want to do it.

    i heared that before but wen doin mine on previous car didnt trust oven so used heat gun

    a heatgun is to concentrated, oven is the best way. and any pics of this colour coded lights? only ever seen black like the gsi ones.

    Yea just pop the lights in a FAN assisted oven for 10 minutes @ 80 degrees which will be suffice enough to pull them apart. The silver part will just pop out, to put them back together just heat the light up again and pop the lens back on hth
