iphone music/vids doing a dissapearing act

Going to dive straight in on this one:

How the hell do i stop itunes deleting songs/video's i've bought and downloaded when i plug my iphone into the laptop??

I just dont understand it? I download music/video's off itunes via the phones itunes and it all goes to plan.. as soon as i put the iphone onto the laptop and it syncs with the laptops itunes things go missing!

It really bugs me, esp when i've bought the stuff once.. and then when i go to re-aquire it on itunes it comes up with ''you have already purchased this item once. would u like to buy it again?'' and im there thinking :- You know i've bought it once so why are you asking me to pay for it a second time when its ur software thats deleting my purchased stuff in the first place.

Its always been a major downfall for the phone in my opinion and im sick of it

Open iTunes, then click on the store menu(at the top of iTunes, not the one on the left hand side), then click check for available downloads. That should download all purchased content I think!

Let me know if it works.

Try plugging your iphone/ipod in and going to File > Transfer purchases from ipod.

That should transfer anything you purchased on you ipod/iphone to itunes.

Also another thing to try is connect your iPhone up to your laptop and wait for it to back up/sync etc, then click on your iPhone in the left hand menu. Once clicked you will get tabs above the pic of the iPhone, click on the video and music tabs and select 'sync all music/videos to iPhone, making sure you sync it each time and that should work
