    rescuemycar.com breakdown cover

    im looking for some breakdown cover and these popped up on go compare

    £26 for the year seems a good price but does anyone know what they are like?

    i think im with them but never broke down yet (touch wood)
    as long as they get you home thats the main thing which im sure they will

    Check the small print for the recovery distance! Some of them have a maximum distance that they will recover your vehicle to.

    For example, Natwest run a complimentary breakdown service for Advantage Gold customers through Green Flag, which is jolly nice of them. What they don't publicise is that if they cannot get your car going at the roadside, they will recover your car to a safe location within a 10 mile maximum distance... basically enough to get it to a service station. Anything more than that and I think you get charged for additional distance!

    I found this out from the person on the phone when I called and the guy who sorted my car after its boost pipe popped off on the M1

    i already checked that the standard cover has a maximum distance of 10 mile like you said but for £6 more you can upgrade to the comprehensive cover that has an unlimited milage recovery for me and upto 7 people so im going for this one

    as long as they either get the car running or get me home for £26 i cant moan. but touch wood i have never broke down so hopefully wont need them anyway
