What make and model is it ? You've more than likely got a leak somewhere dude it don't take a lot to nacker pressure.. did u check the blow off outside though ? In this weather your hot water is always sluggish though just run your taps slower !

if pressure dropping is a sign of a leak on the system some where,
i would also check the pressure releif valve tho as mentioned by turbocabby,

where the boiler is positioned the should be a pipe (15mm copper) that goes outside, it with either run to the floor and terminate about 6" above the floor or it might be a stub of copper that has been bent to turn against the wall. see if that is or has been dripping..

check all radiator valves for drips, (run your fingers around the valves and tails into the rads).

in my experience, for it to drop right down in 20mins tells me the leak will be enough to be visible quite soon..

it is your pressure relief valve gone then.

what make of boiler is it and how old?

is it a condensing combi you have?
