I've got my Astra up for sale, see link in sig. After some opinions on whether in would be best to put standard wheels and lights back on to try and encourage more potential buyers
I would put the stardard stuff on, wheels and the lights and sell the bits on seperately.
I see your from basset, never seen your car about
2002 Astra Coupe Bertone 1.8 16v= Sold
how about offering a choice on wheels & lights in the sale? if they want standard give them standard, if they want the modified look give it to them?
nice motor either way, shame you have to let it go..not seen that colour anywhere before too...
1.8 excluciv convertible '06 (silver lightninig)
i`de say put the car back to complete standard . you`ll have a better chance of selling it plus you`ll get some money back from the mods you`ve done ,
As above put back to standard as youll get the same money anyway and attract more buyers and then sell the parts taken off to make even more money, id even take off the air filter stick it back to complete standard.
if standard it appeals to a wider range of people, also when people see a car modified they stereotype it to of been ragged around and not cared for
back to standard and sell on the mods seperately
Baz, since you bought the car like that, have you got the parts to put it back to standard? because if not, you might end up not making as much money by putting it back to standard as the resale on the mods isn't going to be great I'm afraid.
No longer owns an Astra
Bye bye VXR Castle Combe Edition - because it's done more laps of Castle Combe than most Bergs have of the Ring
it would seller quicker and for more as standard, most people get put off if its been toyed with
