    Vectra X18XE1 into mk4 Astra???

My Astra's engine blew and I've bought an X18XE1 out of a Vectra, obviously though the cambelt/cover set-up is slightly different. (along with the drivers mount!)
My question is, is it a matter of taking off the cover/cambelt and replacing it with the Astra cambelt set-up/cover or are there more issues involved such as sensors which make the engine unuseable?

If your Astra has the XE1 then yes its simple case of swapping a few bits over

If you have the Z18xe then its a bit more complicated as its fly by wire rather than cable operated throttle

Not 100% sure if im honest; the mount will be different from the Vectra so just swap them over. Should plug and play fine after that

If both looks like this you should have an easy time
