    Radio Code

Is there a way of bypassing the time you have to wait before you attempt to type in your radio code. Mine has '4 safe' on it.....long story......I have the code but I'm guessing I have to wait around 2 hours before I'm able to try again!

    Any ideas?

unfortunately each failed attempt with code, lengthens the waiting time

No way to abort delay, this is the whole point of the system. Most car radio shops will do a decode and reset the system, and give you a new code.Approx cost £20.00. Best to leave it ,as the more attempts you do ,the more difficult to reprogramme it. I think after 6, it is locked up/out. find a electronics type garage/shop to do it for you.As with mine I had a code, but it had been changed from the original one,so would not unlock.Have you tried taking the radio out? very often the correct or new code is written on it.

I know the correct code but couldn't for the life of me remember the order of the digits and kept guessing....I was in need of some tunes during my long trip from North Wales to Plymouth! I'll just have to be patient

I booked my car in to have the radio recoded, sat in the car outside the shop, removed radio to find some helpful person had written the code on the radio. Saved me a few shillings so above advice is good!!
