dead clutch mark 4 astra van

ive just bought my first mark 4 astra van bought it with a dead clutch so obviously needs changing, thing is i had a mark 3 astra derv before this and recently the gearbox died so bought a clutch as i was going to do it then i got my hands on my mark 4 astra van.

will the clutch fit from the 1 to the other checked on euro car parts site and both are different part numbers but the clutch is the same size 200mm and has 14 splines on it?

can anyone shed som e light on this please want to get the van on the road and dont want to buy another clutch unles i have to

    chanks gary

also posted this in another section not sure what section its supposed to be in haha appologies

the mk4 has a hydraulic clutch where the mk3 has a cable clutch so the release bearing is different,i have no way of cross checking part numbers

wing it and take it back and just say you lost receipt but you have been given the wrong one.the pressure plates are diffarent and thrust bearing.a would make sure you put a new thrust bearing in as nothing worse than a noisey bearing and its probably feked aswell.

Are they the same model engine in both, if not I would err on the side of caution and say no. Only way to tell really is to remove the clutch from the Mk4 and compare it to the new one you have.
