    Astra H key fob

When I got my Astra H there was only one key now am I right in thinking if I was to purchase another flip key would all the needs doing is fit a freshly cut blade and then programme it to my car?

Would I be able to buy a 2nd hand key and carry out the above?

Might be cheaper (although perhaps morally wrong....) to get some key insurance such as :

    http://www.aawarranty.co.uk/keyprotection.htm

...wait a few weeks and claim for a lost key. Plus you then have some reasonable benefits/cover should you loose it again.
... indicators do not give you right of way!!!

Same has happen to myself, bought a car with one key fob. Prices are insane for replacement keys.

    €140 for a blade key
    €180 for a fob & Key

Was thinking of going down the flea bay route as the fob key I have is damaged a bit so buy a similar one and transfer the inners from the oldie.
