    Standard Spring Questions (SXI/SRI)

    Right - I have a 2003 Astra SXI - 1.8 (Z18XE) and have a broken ns rear spring.

Now i'm not planning to replace it with a vauxhall item as i think they are crap - they always break - so want to replace it with a decent aftermarket standard item - ie the lowered sports suspension but dont want the car lowered any more than it is already.

Any manufacturers recommended for aftermarket springs - I can get springs for the non-sports chassis anywhere but they all say, not for sports chassis . I know i could just fit them but want to keep it as-is.

So - dont want the car lowered more than standard - but do want it for sports chassis set up (SXI/SRI) - and NOT Vauxhall springs cause they are made out of play-doh!!!

I have searched a few places online but no luck on SXI/SRI standard replacements.

thanks - that has helped - KYB have an online catalogue and have the part number listed for models with sports suspension - i'll be in touch with a few local distributors to see what i can get them for.

    Cheers for the help.
