Intend to treat myself in the summer to a garrett cast setup using the smaller gt2860rs which will still flow 350hbp. Not uprating my internals just going to run it at 1bar with revised map, should make much the same power as I am now. But not stressing the turbo like my current vxr unit running 1.5bar
Torque is more usable and sustained on the garrett rather than the vxr power comes in all at once and runs out of puff at 5500ish rpm..
At least then the option is there to up the boost and make more power when I do come to rebild my engine.
Whats people thought? Regal have said I could push it with 330bhp, ill be talking more with them beginning of jan when the fit my new eds inlet mani, tophat, fuel pump and reg.
