The purpose of door hinge caps?

They must serve a purpose, otherwise they wouldn't be there.

    But what IS their purpose?

Mine fell off the other week & then kept falling off. Eventually it's fallen off & i've not noticed it, so it's now no longer there.

For the sensitive souls, i'm only asking what purpose they serve, nothing more, nothing less

Saves slicing your hand up when cleaning the door shuts maybe, the pins are quite rough underneath.

Hmm, seems like i've set something of a puzzle lol.

If nobody is sure then my theory is they can't be that important, so it's no biggie

they are just there to tidy the look up abit, as if they are removed etc when replacing dor paint chips off them and they dont look very nice plus the pins are coated in grease so they are really just to take people eyes of the pins

Kev they were put there on purpose so when you had run out off people to grass up you could start a thread about them.

Alternatively an emergency contraceptive just for you
