    Tailgating

Was reading the fastest cars at the lights thread and it got me thinking of one of motoring's annoyances

Personally I tend to be a right well **** if my lip reading skills are still what they were and I put the cruise control on and tend to move into a relaxed driving position.

What about the rest of us?

I've drive a 4x4 with hi-viz stripes on the sides and back. People tend to pull over for me.. and not get to close behind.

    no idea why

I just drive normally. If they want to hit my car up the arse, I'm sure their insurance company will understand. And if they're not insured... well, I'm a big lad... I'm sure I could convince them to stick around until the police get here

Maintain my speed at speed limits, and see them get frustrated when they cant overtake.
At the end of the day as long im in the right doing speed limits.. im in the right.. they are in the wrong for tailgating.

I hate W***ers like that, I usually warn them by pressing the brakes lightly a couple of times, then if they dont get the point I will slam on the brakes, and as AndyH said if they hit me up the arse their insurance will have to pay, and if they aint insured then shit will hit the pan...........

When you do whack your brakes on, im afraid you have give a valid reason for hard braking.. and if there was no reason you would be charged with causing an accident! lol
