    really high insurance

    My insurance is ridiculusly high!
    I expected it when I got my convictions, but it doesn't seem to be going down?
    I will be paying my 3rd lot of insurance (with convictions) early next year.
    How long do I have to declare dr10, ut50 and in10's for?
    I'm with adrian flux, due to have a child soon, I'm a safe and sound driver and in this climate I'm struggling to
    find the money to pay. Especially when ill have a child soon.
    Any advice or help?

    dr10 = 11 years.
    ut50 = 4 years.
    in10 = 4 years.

    When your insurance is up for renewal.. start ringing around and get quotes.
    Try and bargin them down if you can, haggle and play insurance companies at each other. Just try your best.

    But im afraid with those conviction codes you are more likely going to struggle to get prices low

    just wondering about what was posted about that 4 years for declaring need to clear that up for myself, I got an LC20 and an IN10 in october 2006 (was a very stupid boy) do i need to declare those, i know they come off my license after 4 years but all insurance companies ask for convictions in last 5 years......please please please tell me i dont need to declare them cause im sick of paying thousands for a 2 litre hatch, best quote i can get for fully comp is 2000 quid. Adrian Flux can give me 3rd party for 1400 quid but im loathed to pay that kinda money just now.

    A quick answer would be nice as im having to sell the car due too not being able to afford the insurance and id love to take the advert down.

    many thanks.

    No offense, but you should of thought about that before getting in someone else's car over the limit. I wouldn't exactly say that your a "safe and sound driver".

    Best bet, get the least powerful car you can, and suffer the consequences of your actions.
