    Are these vital or can I just chuck them out?

    mine has got huge holes in them, other than keeping crap out of the metal arch work, they aren't doing much else, you can get rid of them mate.

    not 100% vital.
    can make a bit of a mess in the door shuts and look unsightly being able to see floor under bumper when viewing towards front.
    i took them out on my last 2 mk4s

    Might need to happen once I have the coilies wound all the way down when I get back from sea. Don't want to mess up the alloys once they are all refurbed and shiny.
