    Turbo Troubles

A couple of years ago I helped a freind find an standard 03 Zafira GSi, well last month the standard blower gave up after 45K it had been whining then there was lots of noise and it died on the M6 toll road. I advised him to replace the unit with a standard VXR one. This was about a month ago, had a call yesturday tell me that the new turbo is making the same noise the old one did before it died. The reason before was the bearings wearing out.

Can anyone advise me on the best course of action, I think it's somethng to do with not enough oil, but I'm no expert?? The place that fitted the new VXR unit is a well know tuning garage and he has alot of work done there on his race car so they know there stuff, but this was the first VXR turbo they had fitted.

basically bud all you need to know is the vxr units are a *ank theres been so many people having problems with them.
if the garage you used is familiar with turo'd cars they should no the procedure of fitting a new turbo and priming it up etc if they did all this and tbh there's no real way to prove they didnt then it probably just another one of those dodgy vxr units.
or maybe you have low oil pressure?
