spare plug but not sure what 4

i took my scuttle pannel off today to fit my new washer jets and found a spare plug just left loose.
its on the drivers side of the car and seems to come up from the enigne but theres nothing near it 4 it to plug into :s.
is it safe there or has sumthing been there or left unpluged?

You know the score...picture of it please.

Although I highly suspect it's safe to be just there and not doing anything

crystal ball aint working today so a picture would be useful!!!

youve got to remember that the majority of the wiring used is generic across the range so obviously theres bound to be some plugs not in use and taped up.

i say due to its location its for the powersounder alarm which is situated in this spot on some early models

its been happily doing its thing here before u messed about so just leave it alone - tape it out the way if necessary - otherwise forget about it

so quite a thorough job then

heres an unknown part - lets just cover it up anyway!

theres not much to be connected in that area anyway so if its not obvious what it connects to then its more than likely a spare connector

nothing stopping u having a look yourself at a later time

other than that then this thread is useless with no pics etc
