    Brakes feeling soft...not sharp

What would need to be replaced the braking feels soft and spongey? pads are all 30-50% but even when they were put in new at the start of the summer i didnt get the sharpness i wanted.
What can go wrong or need replaced in the lines of brake fluid and bleeding etc??

First things first is probably replace your brake fluid, its meant to be done every 2 years anyway.

It all depends on how much you want to spend,
Usually old brake fluid gets contaminated with air and water,
So as mentioned by jiberson, that is your first cheap option,(pressure bleeding/renewal is best)

Second is new discs and pads all round (need a few miles to bed in)

But if one wants them spot on, like i do lol

I aquire as new or new calipers all around,
then add new discs/pads and even ss brake flexi hoses, and sometimes renew the hub bearings, simply as a matter of course

Cheers for the advice guys... Am thinking of upgrading to 308mm, so when doing that i may change the pads and fluid too.

The only question is now...do i go the extra pennys and get new calipers too. How much can u pick up 308 spec calipers at the dealers...anyone know off hand?
