I'm driving an Auto Astra MK4 and when I put my foot down even slightly there is a strange noise from the foot-well which sounds like oil being squeezed out through pipes - although it's not (I even checked my shoes). I'ts a weird squidgy sound that went away initially - the car had been in storage for some time and I thought the sound was due to fluids warming up and moving around after a period of being static. But the noise has returned and can be heard loud at most points of acceleration. I have a feeling it has something to do with the automatic transmission, although I really don't know. It sounds horrible. Does anybody know what might be causing it? Thanks.
