Mounting HID ballasts on crash bar??

I'm after some advice on mounting my HID ballasts on the crash bar. I haven't taken the bumper full off as yet but would like opinions on locations and fixing methods.

    I'll have three sets in all - normal (H7R), main (9005) and fog (H3) - all 35w ultra-slim ballasts.

    Thanks,
    Dave

Most of the time they come with their own fixing brackets. Just use them and drill a couple of small holes to bolt them through.

Drilling through the crash bar is ok by me (and what I planned to do) but what sort of location, more to the point areas on the crash bar to avoid. I know I'll probably see more clearly when the bumper is actually off but I plan to have the all bolted to the crash bar but not sure about what parts are out of bounds due to the bumper fixings etc.

    Cheers,
    Dave
