    Foglights on a club

I have been doing some searching about this using the forum search tool. It seems that the Club doesn't have relay/wiring for fog lights? I haven't checked yet as i've not bought any fog lights.

Can anyone confirm if the wiring is there for the fog lights? and if i would need a relay? or are fog lights on a MK4 Club a no go area?

Its a 1999 1.6 16v Club hatch if that helps.

    Thanks.

i had a 1998 club 8v and know it didnt have the wiring, but a friends 52plate club did and all it needed was the lights and the thing that goes in a box under the bonnet... (dunno if that is the relay) ;P

Thanks mate, yeah the thing that goes in the fuze box under the bonnet is the relay.... I suppose the only way i am going to find out is by taking the bumper off and looking for the wiring. Where will it be if its there?

    Cheers.

no need to remove the bumper

just get it in the air or have a look from the front with the bonnet up and the plugs if fitted will be easily identifiable

will probably be taped upto the rest of the loom on either side if fitted

its a parts lottery as to whether ur car is prewire or not

only way to tell is look!

My 99 club, had all the wiring in place, just put in the fuse and relay, new switch and cut the bumper job done!
