    wheel wobble not balancing

ive had 3 sets of wheels and now a brand new set of alloys and at 70mph and above the car shakes starting with the steering wheel and then the whole car. it seems worse if you turn at high speed. everyone has said wheels balance but surely not on brand new wheels and 2 other sets. any ideas

    What tyres?

Budget tyres are often poorly made, out of shape. Even if you balance them they will just wobble.

If its done it on all 3 sets I would say its something like a bent drive shaft

I had this when my bearing was gone.

Jack each wheel up and check for play, if there is play vertically then its the hub, if its horiztonal then its something to do with steering, either the rack, track rod or the end.

its obviously not the wheels mate , if you have no mechanical knowledge then talk to a mechanic you no or take it to a garage and tell them , they will check all track rod ends , balljoints , ect ect and have you the tracking before ?

You don't say if there aftermarket wheels or vaux wheels made for your car.

If all aftermarket wheels check the centre diameter and they sit nice when put on with no bolts, if they wobble about defo Spiggot Rings needed.

If there vaux wheels for your car and the tyres are ok, could just be the tracking is out, get it checked and there proberly find the fault.
