    Cavalier 2.0 16v overheating help please

    Brother has a cav 2.0 16v eco

    He never had antifreeze in the system took it out in the snow and it started to get very hot (froozen water i recken)

    Ive done a coolant change with new antifreeze etc

    But its still getting hot, water is getting around the system fine

    On idle fan cut in about 100 but when it got hot again on way home fan was not even on

    Its always around 100 and red

    Also **** loads of pressure in the pipes
