how much to have this modified/fitted to my astra?

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

i have an astra mk4 1.6 8v hatchback, was wondering how much it will cost to have the exhaust fitted as it may need a little work to make it fit.

its a lovely 4" exhaust which has cleaned up very well, as for rust idk what they was on about only the tip has grime on it.

anyway i live in cambridgeshire area if anyone has any idea and would like to help cheers.

Would be cheaper to go to Powerflow type place and have a new one made.

Im also running a 1.6 8v, I had one of these a while back and took it to vauxhall who tried to extort something mad like £200 for fitting...

I then went and had it fitted at an exhaust specialist in Oldham for £35

this is around what youd be looking to pay. not a long job to fit at all.

maybe have to move the metal brackets and reweld them to the correct position, or shorten and bend them where necessary. but shouldn't be too big a job really

easiest way i found when fitting one like this was to bend a strip of metal around the back box the weld some hangers to that, then this will slide and can be positioned where ever is needed.

ty for the replys, will defently look into it, love my astra and im the 4th owner, my brother the 3rd, hate buying a car which has had something stupid like 9 drivers in its 3yrs, but wanting to do something with the look of the car, got 2 different sets of alloys for the car, front grill sorted and thats about it for now, do have vibe crossovers tweeters etc as i like the look and sound of vibe.

may look into having the windows tinted not sure yet, as stated i dont want to do alot to this car because it will be my daily car, while i have a skyline r33 gtr for the summer
