    Upgrading lights.

As the title suggests i am looking to upgrade my lighting, i don't think it will be complete new lights but i am wanting to see a bit more on the road at night so is it just a case of getting better bulbs or can i do something else?

Best route I can advise for both cost and value for money is HID bulb upgrades.
I went a bit over kill and upgraded headlights as well as High, low and fog light bulbs.
But it was worth it in the end. The light fills the whole road and I can see alot further up the road even with my poor eyes lol.
I paid about £90 for all three kits which came from China, that includes the postage.
the dipped beam is a 55w kit and the fogs and high beam are 35w (35w is pretty much the norm)

Do you have a link that could help? It may be a good idea for all three to be changed so the other lights don't look rubbish. Sorry i was on about fronts.

yea, thats the only reason I changed all three. I also upgraded the side light bulbs to LED so everything looked the same.

This is the company I used, ive had 6 sets from them now and can say they where a great help. especially when one developed a fault. They sent out the replacement within three days. very impressed.

Dont forget though, these bulbs Ive picked are MK4 fitment and I have different headlights, you will have to find out which bulbs you need to fit the mk5.

Fitting is really easy, there is a how to for the mk4 on here but the instructions are much the same for the mk5. If your only in Burnham I could always help out if you get stuck.

yep, well it just got through its MOT with no probs
They had to angle the lens on both headlights, but I expected that as they where both new. Im using 6000k bulbs, so there's a slight blue tinge to them.
