    Looking for a new TV..

As title really.. I am looking for a tv and I think I have narrowed it down, but what do you guys think.

I have been told that the LED TV's are the better to go for over plasma and LCD. I dont do any gaming or anything like that hence the reason I have been told go for LED over plasma and and because it's better than LCD.

Looking for around a 46" model and Samsung seems to be coming up trumps.

This is the model I have been looking at.

Has anybody any better suggestions or any input would be really appreciated.

    Thanks again,

    Damien

If its in budget 3d all the way, as said it's going to kick off soon and you might regret not buying one ? If not, i have a Samsung, so does my mum and my dad has one too, don't know much about any of them but we've all had them 3 - 5 years and all are still as they should be and never had any problems with any. Hope this helps.

Cheers for the replys - but still dont think I will be going for the 3D. If it was for myself then maybe, but it an xmas pressie for the parents back home in Ireland. So really just looking for a decent modern TV around the £700 - £1000 budget mark. Just cant imagine them sitting there with their glasses on etc watching coronation street and all the other soaps and the odd western. ya get me drift..
