    ciggy lighter power wire

    hi just woundering how many things can i run of the power wire to the ciggy lighter i have footwell leds in at the mo and another ciggy lighter for the sat nav was thinking about puttin interior leds and various other things in and on the car just woundered how many things i can run off it safley

    The socket is designed for high power and what your running at the min are all low power things. If you run to much you will just blow the fuse.

    oh ok well in total i was looking to run the sat nav the footwell neons some leds at the top of the a pillars some led strips in the boot and some other leds above the parcel shelf some suspension lighting to light the wheel arches and some under car neons but these will all be on differens switches would that be ok ?

    Yeah i would of though that will be fine, leds are all low power i cant see you having a problem.

    You can run 15 amp worth of power through the ciggy socket so add up the fuse ratings for each item
