    Side Repeaters

Does anybody know how to fit these ??

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Astra...item414bd7c9c4

Would you have to take the side repeater out? or will they just click onto the side repeater??

Also does anybody know where I could find smoked Side Reapters for an Astra H Sporthatch??

    Thanks

they are easy mate, pop the indicator out, put the vxr surround on and re fit the repeater lense!!

i used some double sided adhesive to keep mine in place

How did you fit them to the coupe? Are the mk5 side repeaters a straight swap?

Seeing as Glacious hasn't replied ....

His were a body shop job. The holes for the coupe had to be re-drilled so the MK5 ones can be fitted. Luckily the VXR surrounds cover up the old holes. Only problem I believe was there was a bit of ECU behind the drivers arch which had to be moved and the wire to the side repeater extended.
Astra sold ... replaced with a Skoda ... soon to be replaced with another Vauxhall

Ohh my bad lol didn't realise information was requested

Yea as mark has said it wasn't a straight fit by any means, you can fit them with a little bit of modification to the existing hole for the coupe side repeaters but then the vxr surround would have to go upside down which to me looks odd.

Basically new holes had to be cut in the side wing, some kind of carbon sensor move from the drivers side wing as was directly behind the new hole and both the wires cut and extended so yea other than that a straight swap
